24th Forum 2000 Conference: A New World Emerging? Restoring Responsibility and Solidarity
How can we strengthen solidarity and global cooperation? The 24th Forum 2000 Conference, taking place on October 11-13 2020 in Prague, will discuss the need to restore responsibility and solidarity in a rapidly transforming world. What are the responsible approaches towards tackling the dramatic post-pandemic fallout, the erosion of the rules-based international order, or potential environmental breakdown? What can we learn from the enormous global wave of civic activism, among young people, NGOs, or business communities?
Democratic Solidarity: New member of the Steering Committee
We are proud to welcome Marco Antonio Fernández, a long-time member of the Democratic Solidarity project and the Forum 2000 Program Council, as a new member of the DS Steering Committee. Marco Antonio is a research professor at the Mexican university Teconlógico de Monterrey and he focuses on topics of education policy, fight against corruption and accountability.
