Purchasing Tickets

Tickets can be purchased via SMS or the Lítačka mobile app. The application is available for Android and iOS. Please ensure any tickets purchased in the app are validated/activated prior to entering the metro station, or boarding a tram, bus, or trolleybus. If your ticket is not validated, you can be fined.

Tickets can also be purchased inside trams, urban buses, and trolleybuses. Within trams, urban buses, and trolleybuses, an orange touchscreen terminal sells tickets – payable by contactless card only – with a time validity of 30 minutes, 90 minutes, or 24 hours. These tickets are valid from the moment of purchase.

Tickets are also available to purchase from Prague Airport at the Prague Public Transit company counters in the arrival halls, ticket vending machines at both terminals, and within metro stations. Please ensure these tickets are validated using the yellow machines within buses or trams, or prior to taking the metro station escalators. If your ticket is not validated, you can be fined.

The ticket you purchase is valid for all forms of public transportation within the Prague metropolitan area.

Arriving from the Airport

If you are arriving from Prague‘s Václav Havel Airport, you can arrive at the venue – the Prague Congress Centre – using public transportation. Full information on transport from the airport is available here.

The quickest route to arrive at the venue is to take the Airport Express (AE) bus* to Prague’s Main Station (Hlavni Nadrazi), which can be boarded directly outside of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.[ZB1]  From the Main Station, please follow signs for the red metro line (Line C) in the direction Haje. To reach the Prague Congress Centre, or one of our dedicated conference hotels (Prague Hotel Grand Towers and the Holiday Inn Prague), please descend at the stop Vysehrad.

*The Airport Express bus is a separate service from Prague’s public transportation, and requires a special ticket to be purchased directly from the driver, or in the Visitor Centre of the arrival halls. A separate metro ticket is then required, and should be purchased and validated prior to taking the metro station escalators.

To travel from the airport to the city center, we recommend taking trolleybus 59 from outside of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to Veleslavin Station and changing to the green metro line (Line A) in the direction Depo Hostivar

Uber has a self-service kiosk and service counter in Terminal 1 of the Václav Havel Airport.
