Zsuzsanna Szelényi

As a member of the Hungarian National Assembly, she dealt with international affairs, migration, and gender issues. She is currently Visitor fellow of the Institute for Human Sciences, Europe’s Futures program. Her major focus is on the future of the European Union and the CEE countries. She joined the Council of Europe where for fifteen years she was advising governments and NGOs on education, human rights and conflict management. Between 2010-2013 she worked on human development policies in Eastern Europe and North Africa. Ms. Szelényi was a Member of the first freely elected Parliament until 1994. She holds an MA of Psychology from ELTE Budapest and MA in International Relations from Corvinus University of Budapest.
