Paul Cliteur is chairman and professor of Jurisprudence University of Leiden in the Netherlands and served as its scholarly director from 2002-2010. Previously, he was a professor at the University of Gent, Delft University, and UC Hastings College of Law in San Francisco. His research spans the fields of ethics in theism, philosophical foundations of law, fundamental rights, and the relationship between law and worldviews. His recent publications are The Fall and Rise of Blasphemy Law (with Tom Herrenberg) and The Secular Outlook.
