Government of Georgia stepped aside and allowed the health professionals to deal with the crisis – which proved to be efficient. Moreover, the call for the lockdown came from the opposition which somehow united the public, said Tinatin Khidasheli, Chairperson of the Civic IDEA organization, Georgia. The political support coming from the EU is much more important for us than the financial aid. Also, there are going to be some positive post-pandemic developments as the digitalisation is becoming a priority in the country.
