The 27th annual Forum 2000 Conference, titled “For a Democratic World Order”, was held in Prague on October 15–17, 2023. The discussions considered how democracies and democrats can work together to face common challenges and revolved along the following thematic areas:

  • Democracies Retaking the Initiative
  • Technology and Democracy
  • Promoting Democracy in an Unfree Environment
  • Forum for Ukraine
  • Thematic and Regional Focus

Western Balkans project

During 2023 and in the framework of the 27th Forum 2000 Conference we will implement the Western Balkans project. This project aims at developing a roadmap for the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia) to support their democratic resilience, institutions and civil society organizations through connecting relevant stakeholders and decision-makers.
