Roman Joch is the Vice-president and Director of the Civic Institute, a think tank in Prague. Mr. Joch is also a politician, commentator of politics, translator and teacher at several universities and institutes, including Masaryk University, CEVRO Institute, and University of Economics, Prague. Mr. Joch also served as a foreign policy and human rights adviser to the former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Nečas during 2010–2012. As a journalist, he collaborates with the magazines Mladá fronta Dnes and Lidové noviny. Mr. Joch received his M.D. from the Charles University in Prague.
