Patrick Boehler

Prior to joining RFE/RL, Mr. Boehler was an executive editor at SWI, the Swiss international public broadcaster, a staff writer and digital editor at The New York Times, and a reporter at The South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. He co-founded and led the Environmental Reporting Collective, a global group of reporters and editors. Before becoming a journalist, he worked for Austria's ministries of foreign affairs and defense. Mr. Boehler holds a doctorate in political science and taught journalism at the University of Hong Kong.
