Programme Director for International Affairs, Körber-Stiftung’s Berlin Office, Ms. Fix was previously a visiting fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (S.W.P.) in the Eastern Europe and Eurasia division and an associate fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations (D.G.A.P.). In 2018/2019, Ms. Fix was also a fellow of the Global Governance Futures at the Robert Bosch Foundation Multilateral Dialogues. In 2015, she held a D.A.A.D./A.I.C.G.S. fellowship in Washington, DC, and a mercator fellowship in 2012/2013 with postings at the German Federal Foreign Office, the Carnegie Moscow Center, and the EU Delegation in Georgia. Ms. Fix has also published widely, including policy papers and academic articles, on European Security, Germany’s international role, Russian foreign policy, and Eastern Europe. She has also participated as speaker in high-level panel discussions and conferences and commented on these topics in national and international media. Ms. Fix has received her Ph.D. on Germany’s influence in EU-Russia Relations at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen in Germany, and also holds a Master’s degree in Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
