Irena Kalhousová is a member of the Programme Council of the Forum 2000 Foundation. She is Head of the Herzl Center of Israel Studies and Associate Professor at Charles University. Irena was a fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv and a chief analyst at the Prague Security Studies Institute. She specializes in Israel, Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and in relations between Central European countries and Israel. In her PhD thesis, she looked at relations between Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Israel. She holds PhD degree from London school of Economics & Political Science, MA from University of Cambridge and BA from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
