Former Minister of Foreign AffairsTaiwan
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and a chairman of The Prospect Foundation. Tan-Sun Chen spent most of his life in active politics and dedicated his work to spreading the international profile of Taiwan. Before returning to Taiwan after the martial law was lifted, he was Chairman of the World Federation of Taiwanese Associations and Chairman of the Formosan Association for Public Affairs (FAPA). In Taiwan, he served as legislator of the Legislative Yuan (Parliament). He held the position of Secretary General in the Presidential Office and National Security Council. He holds B.A. from National Taiwan University and double Ph.D. from Purdue University.
