Balázs Jarábik is a nonresident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where his research focuses on Eastern and Central Europe with particular focus on Ukraine. He managed Carnegie`s award-winning ”Reforming Ukraine” project providing rigorous monitoring of the reform process between 2014-2018. Currently he also consults Ukraine’s governmental institutions to implement the Association Agreement with the European Union as a short-term expert at the Association4U project.  Between 2006 and 2012 Jarábik worked with Pact, Inc. in Kyiv, Ukraine to build its presence as one of the largest international nongovernmental organizations in Eastern Europe. He continues to serve at Pact as Eurasia advisor.
