Domestic violence, unemployment of women and gender-based violence have increased significantly during lockdown, yet governments keep on neglecting their pledges to take steps towards gender equality. However, pandemic can also be seen as an opportunity for young woman to come with solutions and take the lead.
We live in a time of global rise of authoritarian movements and far-right political parties which are threat for women´s rights.
