On October 15, the Forum 2000 Foundation hosted the 5th citizens' panel as part of the Parliament for the Future of Europe. The aim of this project is to bring together a diverse group of people from marginalized and underrepresented groups to the center of the debate. With our six partners we bring participants all across Europe to discuss and scrutinize the proposals of the historic Conference on the Future of Europe and reshape them to be more inclusive and meet the needs of vulnerable communities. In Prague, the discussed topic was the “EU in the World”.
We would like to thank all the speakers who took the floor:
- Eva Horelová, Head of Policy Section, European Commission Representation in the Czech Republic
- Armando Chaguaceda, Professor at El Colegio de Veracruz and Researcher at Gobierno y Análisis Político A.C.
- Max Povse, Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires
- István Hegedűs, Chairman of the Hungarian Europe Society
We also thank all the participants for their work throughout the day and all the partners of the project: Democracy International e.V.
