As in previous years, the Forum 2000’s Democratic Solidarity project and the topics of democracy and human rights in Latin America formed integral parts of the discussion within the 21st Forum 2000 Conference.
The alarming undemocratic procedures taking place in Venezuela and other countries in the region were analyzed and discussed by Luis Almagro, the General Secretary of the Organization of the American States (OAS), Felipe González, the former Prime Minister of Spain, or Jorge Quiroga, the former President of Bolivia, among others.

Como en años anteriores, las actividades del proyecto Solidaridad Democrática del Forum 2000 y el tema de la democracia y los derechos humanos en América Latina formaron parte integral de las discusiones en la 21° Conferencia del Forum 2000.
