How to Participate
The Forum 2000 Conference is traditionally open to the public and some of the proceedings are broadcast live on our website. You can also participate in the discussions via social networks.
Observers
Each year over 3,000 observers attend the conference, including representatives of government, academia, civil society and business as well as students from around the world and the general public. Participation as an observer is free of charge.
Registration is required to participate in the discussions held at Žofín Palace, Goethe-Institute and at events marked in the program as “by special invitation only”. Registration will open on Tuesday, August 1.
Discussions and other events held within the Festival of Democracy are mostly open to the public with no registration. In some cases however the registration might be required.
Press Accreditation
You can get press accreditation for the working part of this year´s Forum 2000 Conference which is being held on October 8 - 10, 2017 by contacting us via e-mail at roman.pacvon@forum2000.cz. The e-mail should state your full name, medium, and include passport photo. Please contact us for accreditation by Friday, September 29. You can pick up your press pass as of October 9 directly at the Žofín Palace. The conference is a formal event, the recommended dress code is therefore business or business casual.
Volunteers
You can also participate on Forum 2000 Conference as a volunteer. We have currently several positions open. Apply for position of hostess or delegate´s assistant via email at tereza.zizkova@forum2000.cz.
Live Broadcast
Part of the proceedings will be broadcasted live on our website in the video section. Shortly after the conference, recordings of discussions and other events will be posted there.
