“The fight for freedom never ends”: Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Under the motto "Europe as a Task: Rethink, Rebuild, Repower”, based on a 1996 speech by President Václav Havel, the Czech presidency of the Council of the EU began. “The Russian invasion of Ukraine has shown us that our freedom and security are as threatened today as they were in the past. The fight for freedom never ends. The task of the European Union and the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU is to assist Ukrainians who are currently fighting for their homeland and for the freedom to choose their future”, said Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, in a message published on July 15

In partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Czech EU Presidency, the 26th Forum 2000 Conference will open a debate on practical ways of supporting Ukraine on its European path.

Bush Institute in the U.S.

How Bachelet and the United Nations have failed the Uyghurs in China and the Human Rights

“Madame Bachelet's visit this time, the last visit, was a Potemkin style sham basically. And her comments, as I mentioned, [were] just specifically custom made for the Chinese Communist Party propaganda machine”, says Rushan Abbas, the executive director of Campaign for Uyghurs based in Washington D.C., U.S. Ms. Abbas joined Kateřina Procházková, analyst at Sinopsis, a project of the Institute of East Asian Studies at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
