An Editorial Writer for The Wall Street Journal, based in London, Mr. Ahmari joined the Journal in New York as an assistant books editor in 2012. Prior to that, he earned a law degree from Northeastern University in Boston. His latest book, titled The New Philistines, is about how identity politics are corrupting the arts. In addition to the Journal, his writing has appeared in the Chronicle of Higher Education, the Weekly Standard and Commentary and Dissent, among many others.
