European Social Fund: Human Resources and Employment Operational Program
Financed from both EU funds and Czech public resources, the aim of the program is to break down barriers in the labour market and foster equal opportunities. Projects are focused on education, retraining and providing advisory and social services to help people to find, maintain and improve their job opportunities. Calls to submit project applications for financial aid are solicited for particular areas of assistance. Important projects are also organized by non-profit organizations.

Seznam.cz: Get Acquainted Safely!
This Czech educational film about the dangers of the internet is aimed at children, their parents and teachers. In three stories based on true events, the 30-minute film represents the darker side of the internet. Its goal is to serve as a warning of the hidden danger of various internet identities and learn how to deal with difficult situations that children may find themselves in.

Volunteer.cz: New Face and Content
This year, the Czech Republic’s largest running service and information portal on volunteering developed a new approach to interactive content. The portal is administered by the civic association HESTIA and its mandate promotes communication, interaction, sharing, education and meeting new people. Notably, Volunteer.cz is also an official Czech internet portal for this year’s European Year of Volunteering.

Kruhžítko: Fun for Children and Their Parents
The children´s corner for the youngest visitors at this year´s NGO Market will be operated by Kruhžítko Club. Kids can find playrooms with toys and painting activities. The non-profit organization Kruhžítko works in Prague 6, where it develops programs and increases access to childcare for preschool-age children, services for parents and those interested in early-childhood education. The Club offers short-term child minders for children older than 1 year, painting courses for parents and children from the age of 1 to 3. Parents with children will also find the Club’s “open playroom” interesting.
