The Forum 2000 Foundation would like to invite you to the 8th NGO Market, which will be held on the 4th of April 2007 at the Tyršův dům (Újezd 40, Prague 1). The Market of non-governmental organizations offers both the Czech and international NGOs a unique opportunity to present their activities to a broad public, establish new partnerships, address potential sponsors and volunteers, and gain valuable knowledge needed for successful NGO-management.

Over one hundred and sixty organizations of various areas of interest will be present at this year´s NGO market. A special section will be assigned to our guests from abroad, namely from the Visegrad countries, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Taiwan.

Apart from the usual displays and multimedia presentations, a volunteer fair and a competition for the best NGO presentation, visitors to this year’s NGO market can look forward to Fair Trade refreshments and the sale of other NGO products. Also, we are introducing a series of lectures, debates and seminars on the topic of active citizenship.

The NGO market will be open from 9.00 to 18.00. The Multicultural evening for participating NGOs and invited guests will start at 18.30. This event will include live music and the awards ceremony for best NGO presentation.

Entrance to the NGO market is free of charge. The Multicultural evening is for invited guests only.
