“The insights achieved by the Forum will, I am certain, be of great value to the work of the international community in tackling these issues.”
Romano Prodi,
President of the European Commision,
2004
Observers
Over 3,500 observers attended the various events that comprised the 3 day Forum 2000 Conference. These observers included representatives from government, civil society, academia and business.
Observers
The conference is open to the public. Participation as an observer in the conference panels held at Žofín Palace was for registered participants only. To attend the business and economy panels at the Goethe Institut and Academy of Sciences, a separate registration for each panel was required due to very limited capacity. Discussions held at other venues around Prague were open to the public without pre-registration.
Registration of observers ran through September 30, 2010 or until the maximum capacity of events is reached.
You could also watch the conference live on our website. The proceedings, which were held in the two main halls at Žofín Palace (Forum Hall and Conference Hall), were broadcast live in the section
Web TV. Now the video recordings from these discussions are available there.
Premium Observers
We also offered a special category of paid participation that went beyond the level of observer and provided participants with a unique opportunity to meet and network with the global leaders speaking at this year’s conference.
