Jan Fischer

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic since April 2009. He was the Director of Production Department of the Taylor Nelson Sofres Factum (2000–2002) and Head of Research Facilities of the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics, Prague (2002–2003). He is a member of a numerous prestigious institutions, including the Czech Statistical Society, the International Statistics Institute, the Science Council, the Board of Trustees of the University of Economics, Prague, as well as the Science Council of the University of J.E. Purkyně in Usti nad Labem. Prior to becoming Primer Minister, he was the Chairman of the Czech Statistical Office.
