USA

Visiting Professor of Religion and History at Wabash College in Indiana, USA with a PhD degree in Medieval History and teacher of History at the State University of New York at Geneseo since 1970. He has authored six books, mostly about the Franciscan movement, won numerus awards for teaching excellence, and has lectured throughout the United States and Europe. He has created nine courses that are distributed through The Teaching Company. An avid student of democracy, especially the work of Alexis de Tocqueville, he was a candidate for the US Congress in 1998.
