Lajos Bokros

In 1987 he was Deputy General Manager and from 1989 – 1995 Managing Director of the Hungarian National Bank. From 1995 to 1996 he served as Minister of Finance of Hungary. Since 1996 he has been affiliated with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) in various positions, most recently as Director of Financial Advisory Services for Europe and Central Asia.
