Former President of South Africa. Together with Nelson Mandela, he made a decisive contribution toward the removal of the apartheid in South Africa. He helped establish a process of reconciliation between the black majority and the white minority. He was the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. He is the founder of the FW De Klerk Foundation, dedicated to the development of positive relations among South Africa’s diverse communities.
