Make a Donation

Thank you very much for your kind interest in supporting our foundation.

As the bylaws of the Forum 2000 Foundation do not allow accepting anonymous donations, we kindly ask you to follow the procedure below when supporting the foundation and making donations.

What is the procedure?

1. Please fill out the form which can be found here: Donor Form

2. Send the form to our office:
a) by post to Forum 2000 Foundation, Pohořelec 6, 118 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic;
b) by fax to +420 224 310 989;
c) scanned by e-mail to secretariat@forum2000.cz.

3. Make the payment.

Can I reduce my adjusted gross income via a gift?

(Information for Czech-based donors only)
If you plan to file for a tax deduction of a donation made to the foundation, please make a copy of the donation form and keep it in your files.

Tax reduction – natural persons
(Income Tax Law, article 15, section 1)
Natural persons are entitled to reduce their adjusted gross income by charitable gifts where the total value of all donations made within the year is at least 1,000 CZK or more than 2 % of the adjusted gross income. The reduction in the adjusted gross income cannot exceed a maximum of 10 % of the adjusted gross income.

Tax reduction – legal persons
(Income Tax Law, article 20, section 8)
Legal persons are entitled to reduce their adjusted gross income by charitable gifts where the total value of all donations made within the year is at least 2,000 CZK. The reduction in the adjusted gross income cannot exceed a maximum of 5 % of the adjusted gross income. Non-profit organisations are excluded from this category. 
 

What does it mean to be a donor?

Donors become friends or partners of the Forum 2000 Foundation. All our donors are acknowledged on the foundation website and within some printed materials. Each donor is informed about the foundation activities twice a year through the printed Bulletin and invited to the annual Forum 2000 Conferences.
