Arriving at the Event

The conference is open to the public; however, registration is required to participate as an observer of the discussions held at Žofín Palace and Goethe-Institute. All participants are required to upload a photo to make the registration complete. If they do not do so, their picture will be taken at the venue. Registration opens on Tuesday, August 1. Discussions and other events held at different venues around Prague as well as the Festival of Democracy are open to the public without registration, except those marked in the program as “by special invitation only.”

Due to the large number of participants and the limited capacity of the conference halls, a timely arrival is highly recommended. If full capacity is reached, participants may be denied entrance.

Parking at the Žofín Palace is not provided.


Security

Only participants visibly carrying their conference name badge will be allowed to enter the Žofín Palace and Goethe-Institute.

For safety and security reasons, large backpacks and packages are not allowed at the conference. Visitors may leave small bags and accessories in the cloakroom.

Conference Venues

The main conference program will be held at the Žofín Palace and Goethe-Institute.
Other panels and the Festival of Democracy´s events will take place at the European House and several other venues in Prague.

Venue Premises Accessibility

Please kindly note that the Delegates Lounge is only accessible to participants wearing a Forum 2000 Foundation, Speaker or Delegate badge.

Access for Visitors with Disabilities

The following conference venues are wheelchair accessible: Žofín Palace and Prague Crossroads.
Prague Crossroads and the Goethe-Institut are wheelchair accessible only with prior arrangements.


Languages

The working language of the conference is English. Some events will be translated or held in other languages. Please see the program for details.


Photo/Video

Professional photographers and TV press must be accredited to be permitted to take photographs and video recordings during the conference. Non-professional photography is only permitted with automatic still-picture cameras or mobile phones and without the use of an external flash. Internet

An open wireless internet connection will be available in the Forum Hall at the Žofín Palace.
