Registration for the Forum 2000 Conference is open
Added 1st August 2010
Observers can register for the Forum 2000 Conference “The World We Want to Live In” from August 1, 2010. The 14th annual conference, which will take place in Prague on October 10–12, 2010, will focus on ways to positively influence the environment and open a debate about our responsibility for the current state of the world. Among the confirmed participants are Shirin Ebadi, Fareed Zakaria, Zygmunt Bauman, Connie Hedegaard, Juhani Pallasmaa, Gideon Rachman, Roger Scruton, Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga and many other distinguished personalities.
The conference is open to the public and each year over 3,000 observers from the Czech Republic and abroad attend it. Participation as an observer in the main conference program, which will be traditionally held at Žofín Palace, is for registered participants only. A number of other discussions and various events will take place in different venues around Prague and many of them will be open to the public without pre-registration.
Registration for the conference will run through September 30, 2010 or until the maximum capacity of events is reached. Should you be interested in attending this year’s Forum 2000, please send your request to
registration@forum2000.cz.
We also offer a special category of paid participation that goes beyond the level of observer and provides participants a unique opportunity to meet and network with the global leaders speaking at this year’s conference. More information about this possibility is available
here.
Regularly updated information about the conference, including the list of delegates and tentative program, can be found here.
